Verse 78:1
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
English: About what are they asking one another?
اردو: (یہ) لوگ کس چیز کی نسبت پوچھتے ہیں؟
Verse 78:2
عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
English: About the great news -
اردو: (کیا) بڑی خبر کی نسبت؟
Verse 78:3
ٱلَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ
English: That over which they are in disagreement.
اردو: جس میں یہ اختلاف کر رہے ہیں
Verse 78:4
كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ
English: No! They are going to know.
اردو: دیکھو یہ عنقریب جان لیں گے
Verse 78:5
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ
English: Then, no! They are going to know.
اردو: پھر دیکھو یہ عنقریب جان لیں گے
Verse 78:6
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِهَٰدًۭا
English: Have We not made the earth a resting place?
اردو: کیا ہم نے زمین کو بچھونا نہیں بنایا
Verse 78:7
وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًۭا
English: And the mountains as stakes?
اردو: اور پہاڑوں کو (ا س کی) میخیں (نہیں ٹھہرایا؟)
Verse 78:8
وَخَلَقْنَٰكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا
English: And We created you in pairs
اردو: (بے شک بنایا) اور تم کو جوڑا جوڑابھی پیدا کیا
Verse 78:9
وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًۭا
English: And made your sleep [a means for] rest
اردو: اور نیند کو تمہارے لیے (موجب) آرام بنایا
Verse 78:10
وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًۭا
English: And made the night as clothing
اردو: اور رات کو پردہ مقرر کیا
